My Story

When I was in the second grade, I told my parents that when I grew up I wanted to build a robot that would help them get things done. Perhaps I wanted to give my immigrant parents a break from their extreme work ethic or perhaps I watched too many episodes of The Jetsons as a kid. Regardless of the inspiration, I had no idea how enduring that youthful exuberance would be. 

 

Although I had a successful 13-year career on Wall Street, I somehow knew all along that investment banking wasn’t the place for me. When the opportunity arose to make a change, I found my vocation in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. With this medicine I help patients reconnect with their best selves so that they can get things done again - whether it is playing sports, walking the dog, or feeling emotionally balanced.  I realized that through this work, I am building the figurative robot I envisioned so many years ago. 

 

I’m doing what I always wanted to do, but in a way that I never would have imagined. I am grateful to my inner child for guiding me to live my values through the work I do: To seek wisdom. To be of service to others. To support those who may be struggling.
